The Old Post Office is a delightful period cottage located in the picturesque village of Skirmett.
The property boats a wealth of period features with a brick inglenook fireplace with wood burner and oak beamed ceilings and timbers.
From the comfortable and cosy sitting area, with wood burning stove and TV, there is a semi open plan dining area with a dining table for 4 people and a desk in case you need to work.
This opens onto a kitchen with direct access to the garden.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom overlooking the fields opposite and an additional 2 single bedrooms, one at the front of the house with a lovely vaulted ceiling, and another overlooking the fields behind.
The upstairs bathroom, has a bath and an overbath shower and it’s own access from the landing.
The garden is secure with a shed (in case you want to store your bike) and has a sunny patio with a table and chairs for 4 people and a BBQ.
There is off street parking next to the house and parking available on the lane outside.
Skirmett, set in the Hambleden Valley, is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the countryside on the extensive footpath and bridleway network, within a few minutes walk.
The Frog pub in the village is fantastic and a short stroll up the lane.
